In the summer of 2019, 3Knoxx formed when three musicians - Catherine Lidstone, Theo Hale, and Hudson Stanton - joined forces to create a band-meets-publishing house-meets artist development. Why the name 3Knoxx? We believe an artist must have a clear vision of their future and the persistence to daily work to dream achievement. 3Knoxx as a name reminds us to “continually knock” (have persistence) on the “doors” of our goals and dreams.

The group started 3Knoxx for two reasons: develop their craft through group songwriting and provide investment capital for their individual projects. “Today, pop music is written by writing teams of five, eight, or even ten people yet most aspiring artists are writing in solitude, which doesn’t allow you to learn from others and develop your craft,” says Theo Hale, a founding member of 3Knoxx.

Working with a variety of producers and musicians across Los Angeles, 3Knoxx writes and produces songs optimized for television/film or commercial placement. Catherine Lidstone, a rising actress best known for her role as Isabel Sanchez in the Fox legal drama Proven Innocent, believes “[F]ilm/TV placements provide us an opportunity not only to develop our songwriting craft but also the opportunity to serve our fellow creatives by providing a high-quality catalog for music supervisors.”

As a band, 3Knoxx has delighted audiences at the Hard Rock Cafe on the famed Hollywood Boulevard and looks forward to continuing to play shows in Autumn 2020.

3Knoxx sees each members’ artistic growth as a petri dish to test what could work for other artists. In 2017, Hudson Stanton - a vocalist, guitarist, and producer - released a music video for his single, Chocolate, which gained over 200k views in a week. “Of course, our dream is for our own careers to skyrocket from our impactful music. We also want to bring other like-minded artists with us as we grow,” states Hudson Stanton when asked about artist development and marketing the group’s tracks.
